Our Time on Earth


Our Time on Earth was an exhibition at the Barbican of radical ideas for living in the climate crisis, spanning art, activism, science and technology.

This comission was to create a series of illustrations to interpret a meditation piece at the start of the show, which intended to mentally prepare visitors as they arrive. The illustrations were printed in the exhibiton catalogue designed by Stinsensqueeze.

The images offer space for the reader to slow their pace. Soft gradients imbue perfect round forms with a calming quality. They borrow a visual language inspired by nature, spirituality and metaphysics; while typographic arrangements cite passages from the meditation practice.
