It’s Freezing in LA! #5: New Approaches

At the time of planning It’s Freezing in LA!’s fifth issue, the post-COVID era brought radical change to daily life. IFLA! saw the need to approach climate change in a fresh way, with the potential for transformative environmental thinking. Writers delve into a range of topics covering law, lifestyle, and the concept of freedom among the diverse range of articles exploring new approaches to climate change.

IFLA!’s cover graphic has, so far, typically featured data showing the negative impact of climate change. Issue 5’s graphic breaks away this pattern with an optimistic perspective on climate data records, plotting the Ozone layer’s gentle stabilisation between the years 1989–2018.
